Was Good Peopless It Habibii on the check-in once again. For those who may not already know, I am a Drizzy Drake Fan. Ive been a fan of his since way back ,when he was playing "Jimmy Brooks" the basketball star from Degrassi. Yes I Love Him. So imagine my excitement when I hear Drake's going to be doing autograph signings in Union Square and a free concert in Southstreet Seaport. So of course, called up my best friend Ariela and headed straight down there. Yes, I expected a long line, but nothing like what i saw. TWO huge lines coming from 12th street all the way up to 14th. I LOVE YOU DRAKE, but I had a job to go to. SORRY.

I unfortunately couldn't attend the free concert neither, because of my job, but good thing I didn't go. 10,000 people were at South street and with that many people there all you can expect to see is riots and chaos. JUST CHECK OUT THIS VIDEO AND YOULL EXACTLY KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT.

The first post I made was about Nike Foamposites. Since that post, I have had a change of heart, I decided that its about time I put down the typical "Hood" craving for Nikes and Jordans. My new fave type of footwear is....BOAT SHOES!

Yes, Ladies and Gentlemen...its about time I grew out of the typical footwear and made a transition to something more sophisticated and classy looking =). What I LOVE soo much about these shoes is that they can be worn in both informal and formal situations PLUS...They look Mad cool with the right button up >=].

Im hoping to own at least five boat shoes by the end of the summer. By the way, I do not care what brand it is, if I like it ILL BUY IT.

So to start things off...I want to school you guys on Big Punisher a.k.a Big Pun. All you guys know his most famous song "Still not a Player" where he has the famous line "Im not a player I just fuck alot." There is a ORIGINAL version to this song that Pun made called "Im Not a Player" and personally I think it is better than the commercial version. I Know it has been a while since I did a Artist spotlight but I did not want to do one for a half assed artist. Therefore I present to you CHIDDY BANG.

Chiddy Bang is a Philly-based duo consisting of Chiddy (emcee) and Xaphoon Jones (DJ / producer) that combines elements of indie and electronica with some good hip hop. The result of this is a Hipster-type hip hop. For my hardcore hip hop heads I DO NOT WANT TO DISCOURAGE YOU lol. Before I knew who CHIDDY BANG I had the chance to check the duo performing LIVE in my school and i was extremely impressed by the production and Chiddy's clever wordplay. I had to check them out a little more and now im a fan. The duo is currently touring with the Clipse so you know they are making moves!

btw...Chiddy spit a ILL freestyle @ WBMB Radio Studios...I was chillen at the studio listening to this dude go off the top and i was like DAMNNN...DUDE GOT BARSSSS

( Washington Heights) Habibi learned at a young age what it means to work hard. Learning from her father that failure is not an option, she knew she didn't have much of a choice but to succeed. Although her stubbornness and sometimes persona have put her in situations where trouble arises, she has that to thank when meeting DJ Frank Roth. At first these two were not exactly best friends, we can even say they pretty much disagreed and argued whenever they spoke. But within time there differences were resolved, and if anyone would've told Habibi they'd have a radio show in the near future, shed laugh and picture doing anything far from working with DJ Frank Roth. Work, school , and More Than Music Radio is what makes HABIBI. She never shys away from a challenge , and is put to the test every week when deciding what IS IT people wanna talk about, on MTM.? Theme ideas and topic discussions are crucial to being good and well thought out. They have ranged from funny to educational to straight up controversial. No topic is off the table ,no matter how outrageous they might be. But one things for sure, they will have people thinking. Cause MTM has people TALKING.
